Solve for x: 2/3 - 3x/4 = 1/2 (2x - 1)

You're gonna have to use proper math notation on this one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The way you've written it, (2x-1)/2 would be the right side. If that's correct, let me know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The only way to know for sure is to use proper notation

That's why no one is helping with this question.

if your equation was \[{2 \over 3} - {3x \over 4} = {2x-1 \over 2} \] Then times everything by 12 to get rid of the fractions \[8-9x=12x-6\] Then put the x's on the right and the units on the left \[14=21x\] Then divide both sides by 21\[x={2 \over 3}\]

x= 2/3
