What are the underlying rhythmical patterns in this poem? A chimney, breathing a little smoke. The sun, I can't see making a bit of pink I can't quite see in the blue. The pink of five tulips at five P.M. on the day before March first.

To me it seems that as you read it the rhythmic patterns fall in the A's ("A" chimney, "A" little), S's (Sun, See), and F's (Five, First). Another that caught my eye were the repetitive uses of "can't", "see", "pink", "and "five". Both could well be rarely noticed or underlying rhythmic patterns.
