The mirror image of the mirror image of an image is the image, so there is no reflection. Consider the vertex of the figure nearest the the intersection of the line. After the transformation, that vertex is still the nearest one. Likewise, the vertex of the figure farthest from the lines' intersection is still the the farthest from that point after the transtormation is completed. Before the transformation, the first vertex was below the second. Now, it's above the second vertex. Therefore, rotation had to occur.
