- so if i have one prove for Goldbach's conjecture who and where will be decided that is it correct and acceptably ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I remember reading about prizes being awarded for solving outstanding math problems, but cant remember the details. it was mentioned in a book called 'The music of the primes' .

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok ty but this book not was ,,Uncle Thomas" and thies is realy true that i have reded too on internet that was one prize of money offered for ... but till january 01 this year

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The writer was Marcus du Satoy. Well these prizes were first put frorward in 1900 and I might be wrong but I believe they still stand. I have mislaid the book so I can't give you any more details. It would be a good idea to google it.

I don't think Goldbach is a Clay prize, more of an open conjecture. Of course, there are a lot of people claiming a proof, as far as I know none has been accepted by the mathematical community up to now. The difficulty for "non- professionals" if I can put it that way is that you will be presumed guilty and need to demonstrate your innocence. Persuading a professional that your proof has merit would be a good start. If you do not have access to one, then you could try to post your work on the arxiv and try to convince everyone a) to read it and b) believe in it. I wish you luck, though:-)

So, you have a proof for the equation, and you want to know where and how it will be found acceptable? Proving that it is true seems logical, and doing so in front of established mathematicians always has worked it seems.

thank you for all your replies estudier - can you help me please how can i upload my document on the arxiv internet page - thank you all your help !
