OpenStudy (amistre64):

sounds vaguely familiar; if i recall corectly its just a word to describe "this many" times

I came across that term when studying data bases, it was something like a column of data in somethig like a grid (Excel)

An n-tuple is just an ordered collection of elements. Similar to a set, but it has a specific order. For example the typical coordinate pairs we use to describe points on a graph, (-5,3) is a n-tuple where the n is 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Polpak how did you get 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are two elements in the tuple..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5 and 3.
