cos10-sin10/cos10+sin10=tan35.prove it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tan35? sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cant get it to equate on my calculator - i get it = to tan 45.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless the expression is (cos10-sin10) / (cos10 + sin 10) then this is equal to tan 35

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i assumed you meant cos10- (sin10/cos10) + sin10 - its always better to use brackets to make sure theres no ambiguity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the rule is that multiplication and division is done before add and subtract unless there are brackets which are always calculated first remember BODMAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which stands for brackets over divide and multiply then add and subtract

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyway tan 35 degree s is correct - must go - bye for now
