I've always been highly interested in physics, in particular the physical applications of it. I've indulged in DIY hobbies like building Tesla coils, electromagnets, and small motors, etc., but I am not amazing with advanced mathematics (calculus, trig, et al). I have many ideas, theories, and possible experiments I'd like to try. I'm not content with simply reproducing the creations of others. Is there any practical way I can further my interests, or am I just indulging in idyllic fantasies?
I'm obviously aware of possibly furthering my education and struggling with my shortcomings, which I assure you I would be up to doing, but I honestly do not even know where to start.
i m also like that.interests in many in physics.bt some differ like wormholes, supernovas, fully aerospace engineering and a bit nuclear engineering too.i even dont know where to start it..bt first read books which related to yr subjects..n very nice abt yr hobby..i think tesla coil is very big thing..
I feel like I understand the concepts, I can picture in my head the 'whys', it's the 'hows' that give me problems. Very philosophical scientist. I wish I'd paid more attention in school when I was a kid.
yeah..good thinking..so how old u?
26, and getting older every day.
ohh..i m 18..i like yr hobbies..its great..n tesla coil..i love dat..its can millions of voltage
My primary interests are in the fields of alternative energy and propulsion.
good good..i liked most aerospace n nuclear...so dnt think my dad give me money to buy a space telescope or uranium...
me ketan..frm india nice to meet u..
Dero, New Jersey, USA nice to meet you as well.
Not really, I don't really keep in contact with anyone, kind of an anti-social. Comes with the 'idyllic fantasies' bit. Ideally I'd love to live off in the wilderness somewhere discovering cold fusion in my garage and changing the world lol.
yeah yeah..i understand its okay..and nice to meet u.people like u belive in physics..best of luck for bright future
Good luck to you as well, keep away from the uranium heh.
yeah..right but wt to do..someone have to do this job for new energy source..
The best answer to your question (which is a very old question in the realm of humankind) is to collaborate. Share your ideas with people who are very good at math. You will find that some people who are very good at math are hungry for good problems to apply their tools. The hardest part of the process sounds like something you like and are good at... coming up with ideas. You don't have to know everything, you just have to be able to communicate with people. Among us all, we know much.
