What is the best way/best resources to study for the CLEP test in Precalculus in 1 month? I've already taken a precalculus class before but didn't do great.

Find a tutor

@heromiles: I think I could do it alone and am not sure a tutor is necessary. I've never actually had a tutor before, are they cost-effective?

$15 -25/ hr is the usual rate

I would really just look at a standard pre-calculus text book. if you think you can handle it alone thats really all you need :) make sure you know your unit circle really well!

I recommend Advanced Mathematics Pre-Calculus w/Discrete Math by Richard Brown if you're going to do that. You can find it for like $1 on Amazon

Thanks for the book recommendation heromiles. I'll study the unit circle really well joemath!

Well, for real cheap, probably not $1

Good luck. The Pre-Cal book used at my college is Precalculus 2nd ed, John W. Coburn. CLEP publishes practice tests and also lists the subjects and areas covered. I also recommend an experienced tutor, preferably a college instructor. A tutor provides structure.
