how do you use a graph to find x and y intercepts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The point at which the line touches the x-axis is the x-intercept, The point at which the line touches the y-axis is the y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the x coordinate where the graph crosses the x axis is the x intercept. similarly for the y intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whereever x = 0 or y = 0, that value is the x, y intecept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, for example (0,3) would be a x intercept and (2,0) would be a y intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait, it's the opposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you have the right idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok, gotcha
