(n^6/p^5)8 simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that (n^6/p^5)^8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no just ()8

wait

yes

Okay. If you have: \[(\frac{a^n}{b^m})^p\] You just multiply the powers giving: \[\frac{a^{n*p}}{b^{p*m}}\] So for yours you have: \[(\frac{n^6}{p^5})^8=\frac{n^{6*8}}{p^{5*8}}=\frac{n^{48}}{p^{40}}\]
