the above is the flowchart problem... the actual answer to the problem is given as 11. but can anyone explain how the 11 answer came???

Wow. Its actually very simple, but it took me a while. The answer lies in the 3 instruction. instead of adding 1 to the number in box 2, (resulting in 8 and the number being more then 4 so the logic ends) its actually telling you to increase the box number to box 3. the number in box 3 is less then 4 (its 2) and so the process repeats. the number in box 1 gets added to the new instruction 2 (box 3) and we get 10. then, the next box is looked at (box 4). that number is not above box 8 (4) either (its 1) so the loop hits again. 10 is now added to the number in box 4, making it 11. Box 5 is greater then the number in box 8 so the function ends, and the number in box 1 is indeed 11. :)
