write a polynomial equation with coefficients that has the given roots: x=0, x=-3, x=-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can always write a polynomial as "the product of x - each of the roots". So for your example we have: (x-0)(x--3)(x--5)=x^3 +8x^2+15x

so what u put after the equals sign os the correct answer??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whatever you want the polynomial to be equal to. Sorry for obvious answer, I'm not sure why you want an equation?
