yes, in pure mathematics things r a little different.... anyway I am giving the description of the various sets NATURAL NUMBERS: 1, 2, 3, 4,..... (and so on endlessly) WHOLE NUMBERS : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ....... (and so on endlessly) INTEGERS : .......... -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, .........

so basically all positive numbers from 1 onwards r natural nos. 0 and all positive numbers r whole nos. all negative numbers, 0 and all positive numbers are integers..
