Hello, i am about to study calculus in the next sem and i want to find a book that is comprehensive, easy to read and has a myriad of applications. Any idea?? thx, guys.
why you want learn calculus?
If I understand your question correctly, you want a calculus book that is easy to read and understand. I, for example, have used books by Stewart and from Larson. I find Larson much easier to understand than Stewart.
Your schools library would be a good place to start; thats where I get my math textbooks for college :)
I downloaded a book by Gilbert Strang from ocw, have u gotten it yet?
Here is the link to the book AnhVuDao recommended: http://ocw.mit.edu/resources/res-18-001-calculus-online-textbook-spring-2005/
the more books you obtain the better off you are go to half.com or amazon and type in calculus 1 or calculus early transcendental, theres a lot for a chap price of like $1 up to $10. Like i said the more examples and "authors explainations" the better off youll be.
