There once was a man with acute pancreatitis. His wife had cystic fibrosis and their dog suffered from chronic gallstones. The man’s prognosis wasn’t good. An endoscopy revealed Hyperlipidemia and Hypertriglyceridemia. A CT Scan indicated that treatment of Hypercalcemia with Azathioprine was useless. The patient’s pancreas was in bad shape due to a lack of insulin and the development of pseudocyst. The issue was more than divisum. His amylase and lipase levels were extremely low and ERCP had no beneficial impact. Furosemide didn’t help. Finally he was referred to Dr. Suess who diagnosis the problem as a stethoscopysallowium. The patient had swallowed a stethoscope. Thing One and Thing Two were despatched down his throat and they safely extract the stethoscope from the patients right ear. The patient recovered successfully. He is currently working for IHOP, the International House of Pancreas, serving kidney beans and liver.
