16 over 12 - 14 0ver x+1
\[\frac{16}{12}-\frac{14}{x+1}\] we need to find a common denominator
first we can reduce 16/12=4/3
someone needs to get some sleep! is your goal to stay a master and use an alias forever?
\[\frac{4}{3}-\frac{14}{x+1}=\frac{4(x+1)-14*3}{3(x+1)}=\frac{4x+4-42}{3x+3}=\frac{4x-38}{3x+3}\]
lol

off to the market for me. don't stay up all day
soo the answer is ? lol
i think it was like (4x-38)/(3x+3) if i remember right
this was a subtraction not an equality yes?
oh her others one have been equalitys havent they?
answer choices are 9.5 2 4 10.5
you have 16/12-14/(x+1) i suppose you did not mean this then
does - suppose to an equal sign?
no, thank you though :)
if you have 4/3=14/(x+1) cross multiply 4(x+1)=42 (x+1)=42/4 x+1=10.5 x=10.5-1=9.5 but u said it is suppose to be a minus sign?
