state the regions where sin(x)≤x in there graphs y=sine(x) and y = x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin(x) and x intercept at 0, and in every positive value of x sin(x) is less than x. Just what I think; could be wrong

myininaya (myininaya):

i agree with imran

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i think that right too thanks

myininaya (myininaya):

i made a rough graph and i even took values close to 0 from the right and no matter how close i got to zero it was x>sinx from the right and it is obvious sinx>x for the left of 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, intersect; not intercept

myininaya (myininaya):

i figure u meant that word

myininaya (myininaya):

like for example sin(1/99)=.0101008383 1/99=.0101010101 so 1/99>sin(1/99)
