How do you inline LaTeX on OpenStudy. Typically its done with $, for instance $TeX code$. However it seems only equation mode is possible $$TeX code$$ or \ [TeX Code\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess it isn't possible.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also, how do you break a line in LaTeX on OpenStudy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can't break lines in equation mode in LaTeX. You need to use other LaTeX constructs such as arrays or equation arrays.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets try this $\frac{a}{b}$ nope

OpenStudy (mattfeury):

in addition to the one you noted, you can use double $ $ $ TeX $ $ = $$TeX$$ as well as \ ( for inline text i am \ ( inline \ ) text= i am \(inline\) text

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've just decided to use the \text directive.

\[\text{This is an example $\int x^2\ dx$}\]
