only 3 more ! sorry for askin for all the help, im in the middle or moving, and keeping track of kids, and doing work, thanks so much for the help. Divide as indicated. 12x^2/x-3 / 15x^2+25/x^2-9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[12x ^{2}+20/x-3 \div 15x ^{2}+25/x ^{2}-9\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that [(12x^2+20)/(x-3)]/[(15x^2+25)/(x^2-9)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is (4/5)(x+3) would you like to know how to do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, let me work it out real quick then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry computer died. first factor out a 4 from 12x^2+20 giving you 4(3x^2+5). Now factor out a 5 from 15x^2 + 20 giving you 5(3x^2+5). Third factor x^2-9 into (x-3)(x+3). now the (x-3)'s will cancel out along with the (3x^2+5) giving you 4/5/(x+3) bringing to the top gives you (4/5)*(x+3)
