Find the discontinuity(if any): http://assessment.casa.uh.edu/Assessment/Images//1643009.gif Sorry for the repost, but i need the answer

Is there anything missing from your post?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

a) The function has an infinite discontinuity at x = -2 b) The function has a removable discontinuity at x = -2 c) The function has a jump discontinuity at x = 6 d) The function has an infinite discontinuity at x = 6 e) The function is continuous for all x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's definitely a discontinuity at x = 6...and since x = 6 gives 1/0, which is not possible, that gives the indication of a infinite discontinuity at x = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I could explain it more but I forgot my headset

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can graph this yourself and you'll see the infinite discontinuity at x = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just did. That -(1/8) threw me off. Thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, exactly....it is there to throw you off. Watch out for those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can find the infinite discontinuity without graphing it as well
