Im graphing some inequalities at the moment x≤3 y≥6-3x Now from my understanding it turns into x=3 y=6-3x Im getting stumped at this part im not sure if i have to turn it into y intercept form or not?
You have an equation in x and y, y>= 6-3x, which u want to graph, correct? So normally you would just feed in values of x and find the y's, plot them. The difference here is that u have a condition that x must be less than or equal to 3. so, for example you would not be able to use x=4 to get a value for y. Does that help?
You lost me, so if i have y≥6-3x i need to find the slope of this correct? im pretty confused
Me too :-), I'm not really sure about your question. I guess what I mostly want to know is if u are trying to graph something or calculate something? Or both?
let me screencap for you then
OK, this appears to be a graphing exercise. Try this for guidance http://www.purplemath.com/modules/ineqgrph.htm (This one http://www.purplemath.com/modules/syslneq.htm is for solving them)
