A company’s revenue is the amount of money that comes in from sales, before business costs are subtracted. For a single product, you can find the revenue by multiplying the quantity of the product sold, x, by the demand equation, p. b.Substitute the result you found from part a p=(-1)x+62. into the equation R = xp to find the revenue equation. Provide your answer in simplified form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just plug in for p \[R = x * [(-1)x+62]\]\[= -x^{2} + 62x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there another step after that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, I just get so confused with all the letters and when you think you are trying to find a detailed answer but you are actually finding the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the hint is when it asks to find the "revenue equation". usually that means you'll have a variable left in there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much. I have more :(
