(6y)^6 * (6y)^5 multiply and simplify. I don't think I have been doing it correctly.

The base is the same so you add the exponents.

We have just used the formulas of multiplication of indices , so we are just fine

that is it. rule is \[b^n\times b^m=b^{m+n}\] i your case \[b=6y,m=6,n=5\]
