g(x) = lxl please help!

to do what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to make a graph but dont know how to get the values...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One simple way is to make a table of x and g(x) values; try x values from -10 to 10, to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, for example, we can find the g(x) values for x=-10, x=-5, x=0, x=5, x=10 x=-10, g(x)=10 x=-5, g(x)=5 x=0, g(x)=0 x=5, g(x)=5 x=10, g(x)=10 So, with absolute value, we find that for x=0, g(x)=0; for positive values of x [x>0], we find that g(x)=x, but for negative values of x [x<0] we find that g(x) = -x If you graph those values, it should look like a V, with the crux of the v at point x=0, g(x) = 0, and the V should be symmetric, since a number c and a number -c will have the same g(c) value

thank you so much this was really helpful!
