What is the slope of (-1,-5) and (5,-5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

inifinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait wrong way lol... it has no slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y2-y1 / x2 - x1 -5--5 / 5--1 0 / 6 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would the slope be considered undefined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep cause it doesnt have one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought the slope is zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Slope is zero, which is different than an undefined slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A slope of zero means that as x changes, z remains the same. An undefined slope means that...well, slope is not defined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I thought, so the slope = 0. which *is* a valid slope.
