I did this problem exactly as the top rated answer here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090916074003AAQb5lg But Wolfram Alpha gives an entirely different answer for this problem: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=integrate%3Asin^5%28x%29cos^6%28x%29dx Why is this? just common denominators and what not or something more?
Yeah I like your answer way better than wolfram's. I tried this problem I different way and didn't get the wolfram form of the answer either. Sorry!
What the top rated answer on yahoo said looked right from as far as i've learned in calc 2. I wish I knew how to solve this professionally, however I'm still in my learning stage of calc 2, but if i had to go with an answer, I'd go with the one from yahoo answers.
