In your own words, explain how to solve a quadratic equation using the quadratic formula. Demonstrate the process with your own example.
-b +/- square root of b^2-4ac/2a So for example, 2x^2 + 3x + 5, you plug in a 2 everytime you see an a, a 3 anytime you see a b, and a 5 everytime you see a c. then solve
x=-b+/- square root of a^2 - 4ac/2a so substitute the the letters in the format of the equation
