i need help with interpreting histograms

If you state what you specifically want help with, then someone here may be able to help you

In histograms, the area of the rectangle sections correspond to the frequency. \[\textrm{Width of interval} \times\textrm{ height = frequency (i.e. area)}\] Therefore if you have a block of width 5 and height 1.2, the area would give you a frequency of \(5 \times 1.2 = 6\) and if the next block had width 10 and height 3, then the frequency here is 30. Therefore the width of the interval as well as the height is important. If you know the frequency and the width of the interval, then you simply work backwards to get the height of the block for that interval.
