The initial population of a colony of ants is 5,000. The ant population is growing at a rate of 4% per year. How many ants will there be at the end of 10 years?

The 4% of 5000 is 200! :P So... 200 ants for every 10 years makes you calculate: 200 * 10 = 2000 There will be 2000 baby (not cute at all) ants. If we suppose that the ants are inmortal there will be 5000 + 2000 = 7000 7000 ants! :D Hope it helped :P
