How do you solve ydx-(x+sqrt(xy))dy=0?
you here?
Yeah, thanks for showing...
ok what have you been looking at in differential equations? or i mean what topic have you been discussing?
This is actually a practice test so it doesn't say, but I think it's homogenous
If you divide by x or y it works out
ok i need to review ones like this its not the kind i remember you know like the linear or separation of variables
let me see if i can find some examples K?
its a first order nonlinear o.d.e
i'm still thinking
on pauls math he has some examples http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/DE/Substitutions.aspx this one is a little (lot) tricky though
I have to get some sleep, it's almost 2:30. I feel bad leaving you to work on it alone, but I really appreciate it. I'll be sure to check it tomorrow, so don't feel like you wasted your time. And if you can't figure it out, thanks for the time and effort. Good night (day)!
wait i think all we need is a substition let x=vy
there now you don't have to wait for me you should be able to solve for y now let me know if you get stuck i can help you with the rest if you do
Thanks, that helped a lot
