More factoring fun! Okay the original problem is 15x^3 - 12x^2 + 3x I factored out 3x to get: 3x(5x^2 - 4x + 1) but of course can't get from there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x^2 -4x +1 x(5x-4) +1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um sorry babe that isn't right, it should be (_x - _)(_ - _)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In that case, 3x(5x^2 - 4x + 1) is as far as you can go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But, x(5x-4) +1 is perfectly valid factoring

I'm gonna try that because there's no way to make 4x in the middle and 1 at the end. I have to get an 80% on the review before I can open the test and then it's no help at all so I'm writing down all the tips I get from everyone.
