Please tell me tips while writing a speech.
This has everything you need to know, since that's quite a lot to type out. http://www.speechtips.com/how-to-write-a-speech.html
- make sure you know exactly what your going to talk about (main focus) - elaborate on specific statements - add personalization (humor, real-life situations to relate to, etc.) - show feeling hope this helps :)
Also, what is the purpose of the speech? Are you arguing for a specific point of view? Are you teaching someone something new? Is this just an infodump for people that already know the general idea, and need the details? Each of these will require modificatons to the style.
Depends on what your speech is about. But make sure you write the speech like you're speaking. Make sure you put the exclaimationg points where you need to insert a lot of emphasis. this makes a world of a difference. And also, write in words you'll be able to understand and pronounce easily. Dont try to sound smart and write words that are too big or complicated. ABOVE ALL, MAKE SURE IT MAKES SENSE TO YOU!
make it seem lyk ur confident wen u may b totally insecure coz u dont want ur audience to feel weird whilst ur speaking they want to feel comfortable...dont use words nobody understands or that u dont even understand...and always make eye contact ...thats pretty much all i can give u ...sorry and good luck with ur speach
You must know WHO your audience will be for your speech. Their age, status, education level and other factors will influence your speech and define what is important to the audience====so that the message will resonate with them. For instance, if the audience is a middle school graduation with parents and families, your speech will be tailored for that audience; if the audience is a group of international scientists vs. laypeople, your speech content and language will differ. A political speech is laced with partisan "red meat." An audience of nuns will have religious references. Age is also important: references are often age specific. For example, you wouldn't rhetorically ask "where were you when Kennedy was shot?" to people who weren't even born.
