What is 4≥x≥0 in interval notation?

OpenStudy (anonymous1):

4≥x≥0 means that x is a number which is greater or equal than 0, but less or equal than 4. If it is a real number, then it is: [0,4]. The [ ] sign means that it is a closed interval. If you were to express 4 > x > 0, it would be (0, 4), an open interval.

Ahh, ok. So If it was 4≥x>0 it would be [4,0) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous1):

It's almost correct. But, actually, it should be (0,4], because the interval needs to be expressed in increasing order.

Notice that it would be the same thing as: \[0 < x \le 4\]

ok, thanks :)
