(3w2)(4w2) I am assuming the 2s after both Ws are powers of w. \[3\times4\times w ^{2} \times w ^{2}\] Multiply 3 and 4 and the two w squared together... and you get \[12 \times w ^{2+2}\] when multiplying exponents of the same base, we add the powers. Which results in... \[12\times w ^{4}\] And that is your answer (:
