Find the midpoint of (-6,0) and (2,-8)... So I found the midpoint is 8sqrt2 but my answer must be in form M = (x , x) so how would I represent 8sqrt2 in that form?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

use the midpoint formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right right, I did that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and came up with 8sqrt2 or 11.313.......... so I'm not sure how to express that in M=(x,x) form :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u mean (x,y)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes sir jahtoday

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

x-midpoint 2 - 6 ----- 2 -2 ymid 0 - 8 ----- 2 -4

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

(x, y ) -2, -4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{(x_2-x_2)^{2}+(y_2-y_1)^{2}}\] is the formula, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is for distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

UGH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lolx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DAMN IT lmao

OpenStudy (anonymous):
