Why did the germans loose both world wars ?
Simply put, they bit off more than they could chew !! I guess, if you make too many enemies at one time and they become one and combine their forces, then you are bound to lose.....
It doesn't help to have a mental case running the country and its military either!
The two world wars where unrelated. However in both cases the Germans did not team up with the right allies. In both wars they were able to get early victories over the opposition but the weight of the allies would eventually crush them. As it did.
They did not have that many political ties and treaties with other countries and they were fighting a two front war that was too much for them to handle. Furthermore, after world war one they were stripped of many things. For instance their army could never exceed 100,000 men they could not have any tanks and they were forced to pay serious war debts to almost everyone because they were blamed for starting the war. Moreover, they were then not prepared for world war II which was a big factor in them losing once again!! They never learned their lesson.
I wouldn't say they were unrelated. A big reason why Germany went to war the second time was because they were absolutely bankrupt and devastated from the treaty of Versaille
And there was the fact that Germany was mainly known for its poets and artists. It never seems to turn out well for the humanities people- take Orpheus for example.
in World War 2, there was no way the Axis could have won. From the beginning of the war, the Axis had no chance of winning. Even if Germany had been able to take Britain during the Blitz, or even before, the number of men required to occupy Britain and France alone would have been too much for Germany and Italy to handle while fighting off the Red Army and the US. if West Europe fell to the Axis early on, the US would have the option of either fighting to retake Western Europe or to fight the Japanese in the Pacific. Either way, the Axis forces would have no chance against the sheer number of the Red Army. the Soviets would run straight through to England sooner or later and the Nazi forces would not have enough troops to hold off the Red Army while occupying their territories. Stalin was planning a MASSIVE offensive of Germany to happen just a mere week after when Hitler attacked the Russians. IF Hitler delayed his invasion of Russia by a week, the Soviet offensive would have annihilated the Germans. The only plausible way the Axis could have won was if they developed AND dropped the Atom bomb before the Allies developed their own A-bombs.
In the First World War however, there just wasn't enough for the Central Powers. They were surrounded on all sides by the Allies, even in the Pacific. They just chose the wrong alliances and political ties. The stalemate caused by the trench warfare just delayed the inevitable, there was no real way they could have defeated the allies.
