(x^(-5/4)*y^(1/2))^3 ohh please help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are raising the two variables to a power so you mulitply: \[(a^{m})^{n} = a^{m*n}\] So we have: \[(x^{-5/4}y^{1/2})^{3}=x^{-15/4}y^{3/2}\]

Is that a final simplified answer?

15 can't be divided any more by 4. 3 can't be divided anymore by 2, so yes.
