A circle has a radius of 76cm. find the measure of the central angle in radians subtented by the arc of length 201cm.
how to make it in radians?
and what does subtented by an arc means
wat?
what is now the final answer in radians? i already have that kind of answer but i need to do it in radians
why mine is \[(2.64\pi rad)/180 ?????????\]
what should be my final best answer?
how did you get that?
isn't it when you convert degree to radians you multiply it by \[\pi/180????\]
201 : 2pi r = central angle : 2 pi radians
U understand this now?
why did you make it in ratio?
is the answer (2.64πrad)/180 correct?
what is radian?
201 : 2pi r = central angle : 2 pi radians is where the formula u were given earlier (by Lalaly, I think, he seems to have deleted his responses) comes from. It says that the ratio of the arc to the circumference is the same as the ratio of the angle to 2 pi radians.
What is a radian? The circumference is 2 pi r If you divide the circumference into pieces of length equal to the radius, then each piece is 1 radian.
So 2 pi radians = 360 degrees.
what is your answer?
I think u can work it out for yourself now:-) Study the information until u r happy.
is this correct 201/76 if not in radian and 2.64 if in radian?
is that correct?
just tell me please
just yes or no
I already said, you need to know that by yourself. Study the information until u understand it.
