if i multiplied the vectors, i think they are vectors, u=2x-3y+z and v=x+2y-z would i get (1, 3, 7) after doing the cross product right? or is that all messed up..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply vectors?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah? uh oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says u x v, so i use the cross product right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cross product?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like done here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_product

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that looks right to you then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got (1,3,7) yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i really just took the cross product of (2,-3,1) with (1,2,-1) and that is what i got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pretty sure this is right
