i was wondering whethere when you are calculating the slope or the derivative can we have two continuously increasing graph ? or more than two ?? and what does strictly increasing mean ?

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

strictly increasing means the function doesn't decrease at any point and also it is always greater than the preivous value...

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

the condition is y'>0 for strictly increasing i believe

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

i am not quite sure gal what is that you mean by the first sentence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my teacher said when you draw the graph and there is a turn then it need not have to decrease ! if it doesnt decrease wat exactly happens there ??

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

it is equal to the previous value or constant gal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get it ! :/

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

say the graph is increasing and then the graph turns to be constant it is not hat your function is decreasing right?

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

come here http://www.twiddla.com/586071

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aha It won't minima

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

gal?????? come on twiddla
