how do i solve, 2x^2+3x+11=0 thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ideally; you can simply plug and play with the quadratic formula

OpenStudy (amistre64):

otherwise you have to find factors of 22 that add to 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to use the quadratic formula solver. This is a complex numbers operation. the solution is: x = (1/4)(-3 +-i*[sqrt(79)]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you could try completeing the square; but thats a pain as well

thanks(:
