ok first you need to find the slope of the lines m = y-y ----- x-x then plug the slope and a set of your known point into the point slope formula y-y=m(x-x)
ok I got tat far but I get confused Like which numbers goes where I get the y and the x mixed up

So i plug in y=-1/2 x+b
no use this y-1=-1/2(x-3) distrubute and change your negitive one over to the other side and then simplify to give you the answer in the y intersept form (y=mx+b)
im confused about y-1=-1/2(x-3). I am not understanding that part and what to did next
it's from the point slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1) The M value was the slope we figured out earlier they your y1 and x1 value is going to come from one of your known points that we used to help figure out your slope
