IS VITAMIN POISONING POSSIBLE??????????? I KNOW IT IS BUT TO WHICH VITAMIN IS IT REALLY COMMON????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is possible, depending on the nature of the vitamin used. Polar vitamins (soluble in water) such as B and C are less harmful than non-polar vitamins (soluble in fats) such as A, D, E and K. This is because an excess in water-soluble vitamins is most likely to be excreted in urine. Here's a table I think it would help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamins#List_of_vitamins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The most famous example is Vitamin A poisoning, usually from eating the liver of certain animals. The liver of the polar bear, for example, has dramatically high amounts of Vit A. That's also one reason why pregnant women are advised to not eat tomalley (lobster liver).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vitamin A, D because these are fat soluble it takes more effort to ride the body, other water soluble vitamins such as B, C, will be excreted in the urine if the body does not need it.
