can anyone that is good with matrices help me out because i really need help on this question i am so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i am just in class 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this the sort of thing u want? http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i= {{0%2C-1}%2C{1%2C0}}+multiply{{3%2C6%2C4}%2C{1%2C2%2C5}}+

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no estudier i am still confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That I gave u is a 90 degree rotation of the triangle (plot it and see). If that is not it, then I don't really understand what rotation it is that you want.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when it came up it came up at the home screen it did not show anything about the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Go to http://www.wolframalpha.com/ and paste {{0,-1},{1,0}} multiply{{3,6,4},{1,2,5}} in the box and press return

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, is that what u want?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is.. To rotate, use a rotation matrix and premultiply. Rotation matrix is [cos -sin, sin cos] eg for rotation of 90 degrees = pi/2 then cos pi/2 = 0 and sin pi/2 is 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but how would i type the other 2 in there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First u have to figure out the required rotation matriix according to the post I just made above. When u have done that, just change the relevant numbers and recalculate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnk you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To help u on your way with the second one, it wants 180 degrees = pi. [cos -sin, sin cos] for pi, sin pi is 0 and cos pi is 1.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plot them afterwards to make sure u did them right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnk you so much i was having so much trouble

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what did answer did you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first one is answered in the thread I gave u link and the second one is started, just follow the same method...
