y=-2/9x-6 solve for slope and y intercept

OpenStudy (aroub):

slope=-2/9 y-intercept= -6

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the form of the equation of the line that they give you is called "slope intercept" for a reason; they use the slope and the yintercept as a part of the equation itself

OpenStudy (amistre64):

-2/9 would be the slope; and the slope always goes in front of the "x" for this form and the -6 is the y intercept becasue that is the spot that its always at in this form

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the question/exercise is designed to get you to be able to spot them at a glance

its too much simple but i never thought that way before..it was stunning to me...@64
