if there i s a problem with the fallopian tube in the woman,(esp, the ampullary isthmus region)is thr any pooiibility 4r the woman to produce ovum(since the ovum after the cycle) is present in tat region!?are thr any ways 4r the woman to conceive,?suggest some assited reproductive techniques othr thn gettin gametes 4rm a donor, and adoption

sry tats possibility*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i didnt studied yet i m in 11 .... :-(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

she could have one of her eggs implanted in another woman's body... or a test-tube baby...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Technically her ovary should be intact and functioning and conception difficulties should be cause the fertilization in vivo occrus int he fallopian tube and then the embryo travels and implants in the uterus . If an invitro fertilization is allowed to happen and then implanted the person shouls be able to get threough pregnancy. ( I am not a doctor -------a gyenochologist should be able to give more detailed info)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the women actually developed the damage in the ampulla and isthmus region by sterilization surgery like ligation or cauterisation she can get this reversed by a method called ampullary cornual , or microsurgery ....the difficulty is based on the sterilization technique performed on the individual and the subsequent damage -but its possible though . And if the damage is not caused by such procedure .............since ova are formed and released and the difficulty is that it cant get through the fallopian tube ..........any IVF(invitro fertilisation procedure) where they will harvest the womens own ova and then implant it into her own uterus will work. http://www.infertile.com/how-to-get-pregnant/htgp-chapter-15.htm http://www.care-life.com/ivf-who.asp

that deserves a standing OVAtion!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thankyou

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnk u everyone!but still confusedd!thnx anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eggs/ovum will be produced in the ovary as normal(usual) , as there is no pathology/disease affecting the ovary or hypothalamo-pituitary ovarian axis. Here in this case affected part is the fallopian tube. Difficulty is that the ovum/egg can't reach the uterus to get implanted ,there by resulting in infertility ,if both fallopian tubes(Right & Left) are blocked.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@deception-so wat r the diif methods undertaken so tat the woman can conceive?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The ovaries will do their part in producing teh ovum. You could build a canal out of tissue (witha lot of flagella) that can push the ovum down. Or simply figure out when she ovulates (from hormonal levels?) and then do an ivitro on her. must work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but thr is a prob in the ampullary isthnus region, and the ovum is present thr afer the montly cycle,so if thr is a prob hw can the region hold the ovary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a region of the tube, i'm talking about removing the tube & replacing it by artificially grafted tissue ( respiratory tract ?) or just scooping out the egg as it flows down. and then doing the invitro. needs surgery ofc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh!okie!got it!thnxx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyway, infundibular region gets the ovum first no? by pass it to the womb from there .. i.e kinda cut the journey short. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it can b done roughly done on the mid,14th day till day 17!any one of those days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

later than 14 earlier than 20 th. 17th maybe!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeaa!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think th eoperation would be dependent on the whihc part of the mesustral cycyle the woman is in. The procedure of cutting out the defective part of the fallopian tube and reattaching it to the uterus does require a bit of recovery time. But once the operation is sucessfull her body should be able to transfer the ova to her uterus through her newly rectified fallopian tube during her normal ovulation cycle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But if she goes for IVF or invitro fertilization , the clinic before they remove ova usually treat the woman so that she relases mutiple ova and I think the womans entire ovulation cycle is micromanaged with hormones so that when they go in for harvesting the ova they do collect ova from the person. Otherwise these are pretty expensive procedures and repetitionsof procedure will cost . Basically the induce ovulation by giving them med.

thnx alotttt!guyss!nw iam clear wit it!
