Calculate the mass/volume percent, %(m/v) for the solute in each of the following solutions: \[a; 75g of Na _{2} SO _{4} solution\] b. 39g of sucrose in 355mL of a carbonated drink
ok do you have the amount of solution in part a?
a. All you're given is mass, are you sure they didn't give you a volume?
b. 0.039kg/0.355L - your answer's units will be in kg/L
sorry missed some. a. 75g of Na2SO4 in 250 mL of Na2SO4 solution b. 39g of sucrose in 355 mL of a carbonated drink

\[Na _{2}SO _{4}\]
just do .075kg/.250L=0.3Kg/L*100=30% Na2SO4 solution
So a. will be: 0.075kg/0.250L again, units will be kg/L. better check what units they want.
and allix did part b for you
thanks a lot guys.
