Match them . 6 sides 8 sides 10 sides 12 sides 720 degrees 1,440 degrees 1,800 degrees 1,080 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

more sides...more angles...more total angle measurement.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the degrees measure what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

total interior angle measurement is my guess...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

angles

OpenStudy (amistre64):

itd be mine too

OpenStudy (amistre64):

angles of what? polygons have a number of different angles to measure :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

central interior exterior bisectors ...etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Polygons

OpenStudy (amistre64):

polygon is not a measure of an angle ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you really should have some idea as to what the question is asking for us to help out when WE have questions :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Match the polygon with the given number of sides with the corresponding sum of its angle measures .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 sides - 720 deg 8 sides - 1080 deg 10 sides - 1440 deg 12 sides - 1800 deg

OpenStudy (amistre64):

interior or exterior ... take 6 for example: interior is: 6(180 - 360/6) = 180(6) - 360

OpenStudy (amistre64):

unless i forgot forgot how to do those which is highly probable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exterior angles always measure 360, right? : < And total measure of interior angles is 180(n-2), n being the number of sides.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

depends on how you define exterior; wolfram defines it as 360 - interior

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh. Well, that's what we learned in Geometry. Hoho. :'D Have to study for my Math exam now. (':

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And 360 is the total measure of all the exterior angles, not just one. :'D

OpenStudy (amistre64):

360 (2pi) is the measure of all the bisector angles ... which seems to be another way that people use the term exterior angle to mean so it gets a little confusing at times :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but as far as this is most likely an interior question; good job :)
