this is not math but which is more salty, freezing ocean water(not ice) or tropical water? the ocean kind of course :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

freezing

OpenStudy (angela210793):

i guess u know the answer...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i think freezing eliminates the salt to an extent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just needed to check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

freezing eliminates the salt at the surface...but it precipitates out as you move down..and thus has more salinity than tropical waters which essentially have very little salinity to them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it because the frozen water expels salt to the water around it, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Freezing Ocean Water, the colder water is, the more densely packed things are within it.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ugh... bergs are made from fallen snow; or fresh water; not frozen sea water ... my bad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (amistre64):

prozne water is what; french bergs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
