Combine like terms. Write all answers in descending order. 12t6 − t3 + 8t6 + 4t3 − t7 − 3t3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12t6 − t3 + 8t6 + 4t3 − t7 − 3t3 -t7+20t6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-t^7+20t^6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm lost

write it in order of power first, then do the math on it... \[-t^7+12t^6+8t^6-t^3-3t^3+4t^3\] \[-t^7+20t^6+0t^3\]

combine the like terms means take the number letter combination and add it to the same letter number combination. so for example take t6, you have a positive 12t6 and a positive 8t6 so you can add them to create 20t6. -t3 and -3t3 create -4t3 and so forth. then after you combine all of the combinations just put them in biggest to smallest order

is it just this -t7 + 20t6 without the 0t3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!
